Mr. Jim Onitsha Ufuoma
“Good Education, the Best Legacy.”
On 16 September 1996, Mr. Jim Onitsha Ufuoma opened the doors of Our Saviour Group of Schools in Sapele, Delta State, with one goal: to give young people a quality education that shapes them academically, morally and socially.
A teacher at heart, he trained at St. Thomas Grade II Teachers’ Training College, studied Education at the University of Ibadan, and earned a Master’s degree in Education from Temple University in Philadelphia, United States.
His years in the classroom and in school administration shaped the values the school still holds: academic excellence, discipline, moral uprightness, dignity of labour, self-reliance and a firm stand against examination malpractice.
Today, from Nursery to Senior Secondary on Shell Road, every child who passes through Our Saviour carries a part of the legacy he built.
